"We Care the Hearts of Children, We Do Business in Virtuous Dimension!" On October 22, more than 2,000 NU SKIN business partners, the Company's staff, families and friends joined hands to take part in the "Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk 2006" organized by Children's Heart Foundation in Tai Tam Reservoir Road, Hong Kong Parkview. Nu SkinEnterprises Hong Kong had raised altogether HK$680,000 for the event and was awarded the "Diamond Sponsor" by the organizer. Ms. Angela Lau, Regional Vice President of NU SKIN Greater China and President of Northern Mainland and Hong Kong/Macau, represented the Company to receive the souvenir from Dr. York Chow, Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food. Angela was also invited to be the guest of the ribbon-cutting ceremony before the kick-off of the walk. NU SKIN gained great success in the event and got all the awards, including the "Royal Cup" (the greatest amount of funds raised), the "Caring Cup" (the largest number of participants in a team) and the "Fun Brigade" (the most striking team). It further proved that our business partners are all so generous in supporting charity works with one heart and one goal.
The NU SKIN participants gathered in Tai Tam Reservoir Road, Hong Kong Parkview at around 10:00 am to support the "Fun Brigade" performance on that day. The NU SKIN Children's Heart Programme Executive Committee 2006/07 Members went up onto the stage and led the participants to call out the slogans "Use the Products, Talk to People, We are a Force for Good, Support CHF" and waved the heart-shape flags at the same time. The performance was so spectacular that we won the "Fun Brigade" at last. After that the participants followed the walking path to reach the destination in a joyful atmosphere. The whole route was filled with our participants wearing the "Force for Good" T-shirts. It really showed our united spirit and all the participants enjoyed an unforgettable and meaningful day.
