Pharmanex obtains its colostrum from dairy herds in the upper Midwestern United States. Colostrum MFT™ utilizes a special collection system from participating cooperative member farms to ensure that the colostrum is carefully collected and stored until picked up for processing. Since cows in the U.S. calve year round, colostrum is available on a continuous basis.

Pharmanex uses a patented, proprietary micro-filtration process to produce Colostrum MFT™ with a concentration of IgG more than 500 times that contained in raw milk. This process uses microfiltration instead of pasteurization, which can destroy beneficial components.
