Working in the travel industry for the best part of my career, I had travelled to almost every continent and lived in several countries over the years. Travel has always been in my blood and I have always chosen to work hard and give my best to work on my goals. As a result I had reached a pinnacle in my career with the travel industry but then came a time when I had to slow down due to health issues. This gave me some time to realise that I was ready for a new challenge – I wanted to try to experience something new.
So it happened that my childhood friend reached out to me to tell me about the LumiSpa, she offered to have me try it out and give her feedback. It delivered 2 days later packaged elegantly and once I tried it, it was love at first touch. The LumiSpa then became my most precious possession.
After the business opportunity and the products were presented and explained to me it just made sense but I had no idea how I could possibly fit this into my life but I was excited and wanted to try it. I started with the AP24 Whitening Toothpaste and my own results.
I then realized that my new challenge that I was searching for was right in front of me… Nu Skin.
After attending a great training session with my incredible uplines who travelled to South Africa and their careful guidance I got straight to work using their guidelines as my focus.
I am in love with the products I am using and so proud to say that I am part of Nu Skin. I feel blessed to be surrounded by amazing, caring, conscious and loving people who consistently encourage me and with whom we can celebrate our victories & achievements together.
My 5 Top lessons I have learnt in my journey are:
1. Focus on others
2. Surround yourself with like-minded leaders in the business that inspire you
3. Leaders are born at events. Go to events and take your team with you – events are a great opportunity to be inspired
4. No excuses
5. Focus on the products and these 3 things: LOI’s, ADR Subscription’s & 8 is Gr8!
I am so grateful for partnering with Nu Skin as I am now able to benefit from my flexible schedule allowing me to work independently and enjoy time with my family with the time flexibility this opportunity offers. The biggest highlight for me so far has been attending the OTG Success Summit in Marbella in Spain in April 2022. Being surrounded by such incredible and inspiring people was an extraordinary opportunity. My kind and always supportive husband, Mark, has decided to join me in this opportunity.
