SULTAN AHMED MOSQUE (Blue Mosque)
Sultan Ahmed Mosque, known as the Blue Mosque by many tourists because of its bluish interior decoration, is the most important mosque of Istanbul standing next to the Byzantine Hippodrome in the old city center. It was built by the Ottoman sultan Ahmed I between 1609 – 1616.

The Grand Bazaar is renowned as the oldest and largest shopping centre of the world, and it houses 3,600 shops over a 45 thousand square metres (11.2 acres) of covered space. The Grand Bazaar was the hub of Ottoman economy and today it is the first choice for shopping for those visiting Istanbul.
