Vera Closed Beta Testing FAQ

General Info

What is Beta Testing?

Beta testing is the final round of testing before a product is finally released to a wider audience. The objective is to uncover as many bugs or usability issues as possible in a controlled setting.

If you encounter an issue where the product crashes or acts in a way that simply doesn’t make sense or experience any confusion on how to use the app we want to hear about it!

Please note that this is not a final version of the platform or an official launch of the platform, and that the platform may change. We try to get all the bugs fixed before we roll out a beta version, but not everything will be perfect yet. That’s where you come in! With your help, we can shape the future of Vera and build the best tool possible.

When is the testing period?

The Vera closed beta testing starts from the point when you receive the launch email and will continue to run until we inform you on the end date. Depending on the test progress, the end date might change.

How do I know if I’ve been selected as a beta tester?

You should have received an email from Nu Skin to notify that you have been selected to participate in the Vera closed beta testing program. If you didn’t find it in your inbox, check your ‘Spam’ folder.

I’m in - how do I get started?

Congrats! As soon as the beta starts, you should receive an email about the beta launch with details on how to access Vera. You can refer to the steps below on how to access the tool.

Try Vera Now

Open the MyNuSkin app on your mobile device.

MyNuSkin app is available on iOS and Android devices in App Store and Google Play Store, respectively. If you don’t have the app, you can download it by clicking one of the following badges:

Once you have successfully logged in, check if you are using the beta version:

  • Tap on PROSPECTING BETA in the side menu.
  • Depending on your market, tap on either Invitations Beta or Offers Beta. You are required to read and agree to the Terms of Use before proceeding.
  • Image
  • Tap on + New Invitation. You should see the VERA Skin Consultation option. Only accounts that were added to the database have access to the beta.

What state will the beta version of the app be in? Will it be full of bugs?

As it is a work-in-progress, you’re sure to encounter a few bugs. Please note that this is not a final version of the platform or an official launch of the platform, and that the platform may change.

Can I stop being a beta tester whenever I want to? How do I opt out of the beta program?

We intend to keep you on our records and notify you by email whenever there is a new release that needs to be beta tested. If you decide at any point that you don’t want to do any beta testing any more, you can email us at digitalcxinsights@nuskin.com and we will remove you from our list of registered beta testers and the feature will automatically be removed from the MyNuSkin App.

Where can I provide feedback, report bugs or ask for help?

While using the app, there will be occasional feedback survey prompts that will appear during the Vera experience where you can provide comments and suggestions freely. These will be available both on the app (for Business Affiliates) as well as the skin consultation and checkout pages that your customers will see.
