Force for Good Efforts at LIVE
October 02, 2019
Wondering how you can be a Force for Good at LIVE? We have several ways, that you can get involved and be a part of our Force for Good efforts. Join us to make a difference!
Giving Machines
Look for our Force for Good branded "giving machines" around Vivint Smart Home Arena, The Salt Palace, and in Provo at the corporate headquarters. These giving machines will be stocked with different opportunities for you to donate and help a child in need.
At registration, you will receive a “Cause Card” that will profile a child that you can help during LIVE at one of these giving machines. When you donate, you will receive a pin to wear throughout LIVE that will showcase how you were a “Force for Good.” Make sure to check out the different pins associated with the cause cards and the "Suprise" pins in the giving machines!
Sustainability
Our goal for LIVE is to divert 75 percent of waste from landfills by recycling, reusing, reducing, donating, and repurposing it. We even plan to donate as many leftovers, of all types, as we can — food to local charities, foam core to schools for science fairs, vinyl into bags, and excess craft and building material to art charities. The entire LIVE event is 100 percent energy neutral by the purchase of SRECS (Solar Renewable Energy Certificates).
Sales leaders will have the opportunity to help in the creation of a stain glass piece made of repurposed glass during the Provo Experience. Green QR codes with the Sustainability logo will be placed around the building. Scan them to learn about the different sustainable elements around our building. The biggest influence on our sustainability efforts is YOU! Think before you throw something away. If it’s reusable, recyclable or able to be recycled, please look for the recycling bins that will be placed around the venues for your use and opt to increase our efforts!
Force for Good Party
Join us for our first Force for Good Party! Spend the evening Monte Carlo style. With casino games, a big swing band, dancing, hors d'oeuvres, and a live auction you won’t want to miss this. Nu Skin employees have a special opportunity to attend and mingle with sales leaders. Everyone will be dressed to impress in their best 1920s attire. Some of the amazing auctions items include:
• breakfast with Sandie Tillotson at Tiffany’s
• a trip to Pirates Cove
• bungee jumping with Ryan Napierski in New Zealand
• Blake Roney’s personalized motorcycle
All proceeds will go to support children around the world.
