June 12, 2013
Last week the global Nu Skin family kicked-off Nu Skin’s 10th annual Force for Good Day by participating in service projects throughout the world. The activities represent Nu Skin’s commitment to maintaining its mission to be a Force for Good throughout the world. Take a look at some of the highlights:
USA: Nearly 700 employees gathered at Nu Skin’s Provo headquarters to assemble learning kits and 10,000 healthy lunches for underprivileged children along with cleaning 10 city blocks of the surrounding community.
Canada: Nu Skin Canada worked with DEBRA; a Canadian organization that supports and assists those affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (a rare group of genetic skin disorders causing blistering and shearing of the skin).
Greater China: Donated extra clothes to local charity partners to help those in need in their community.
Indonesia: Prepared and donated school kits and held a movie screening for children benefitting from the South East Asia Children’s Heart Fund.
Japan: Supported a food drive and created school kits to help underprivileged children in the area.
Philippines: Planned a back-to-school event including the donation of school supplies to Child Health in Life and Development (CHILD) Foundation.
Singapore: Partnered with Club Rainbow Singapore to reach out to Heart’s Kids and children with chronic and life-threatening illness. The children built personal terrariums.
